Job Description
Shishuvan School, Matunga is seeking a passionate and dedicated Commerce Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge in Commerce and Economics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage students in an ICSE curriculum environment.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Commerce subjects as per the ICSE curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments aligned with ICSE guidelines.
Deliver engaging and interactive classroom sessions.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations.
Maintain accurate student records and academic reports.
Use digital tools and technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Participate in staff meetings, school events, and parent-teacher meetings.
Support students in academic growth and conceptual clarity.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification: M.Com (Master of Commerce)
Mandatory Qualification: B.Ed. in Commerce / Economics
Medium of Education: English Medium
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience (preferably in ICSE School)
Computer Skills: Proficient in computers and digital teaching tools
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Preferred Skills
Experience teaching in an ICSE School environment
Good classroom management skills
Ability to create engaging and student-centered learning experiences
Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital learning tools
Passion for teaching and mentoring students
Salary
Salary: As per experience and last drawn salary
