Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Homeroom Teacher in planning and delivering lessons based on the IB curriculum (PYP/MYP as applicable).
• Support differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Help in preparing teaching materials, learning resources, and classroom displays.
• Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning concepts.
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Monitor student behavior and encourage adherence to school values and policies.
• Assist in maintaining discipline and classroom organization.
• Help supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, and school events.
• Ensure safety and well-being of all students at all times.
• Assist in observing and documenting student progress.
• Support in maintaining portfolios, records, and assessment data.
• Help in preparing reports and feedback for parents.
• Work closely with the Homeroom Teacher, subject teachers, and IB Coordinator.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and IB workshops.
• Contribute to school events, exhibitions, and co-curricular activities.
