Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Mill/Lathe Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for GibbsCAM programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines and lathes to produce precision components. Your mechanical knowledge, proficiency with CNC programming languages such as HAAS and Fanuc, and experience with CAD/CAM software will be essential to ensure efficient production processes. Responsibilities

Develop and modify CNC programs using HAAS/Fanuc controls, ensuring optimal machining processes for various parts.
Set up CNC milling machines and lathes by installing tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to blueprints and technical specifications.
Operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently, monitoring machine performance throughout production runs.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications to produce accurate components.
Perform routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to verify part dimensions and quality standards.
Adjust machine parameters as needed to maintain precision and meet production deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machining issues quickly and effectively.
Proficiency in CNC programming languages, particularly HAAS/Fanuc controls.
Strong experience with GibbsCAM in required.
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Skilled in using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality control.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, welding, and use of hand tools and power tools.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency.
Valid forklift certification is a plus for material handling within the shop environment.
