ABOUT US
Cronos Steel Processing is dedicated to quality, safety, and efficiency in steel processing. We seek a motivated individual to join our team and maintain our high standards.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate Kinetic CNC Plasma Cutting Machines: Set up and operate machines to cut and shape steel components per specifications. Flexibility to operate multiple machines.
Material Handling: Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and adjust as needed.
Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs with the team leader.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and report concerns or incidents.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including material usage and quality control.
Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, manage scrap metal, and ensure tools are returned to their proper locations.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
Relevant CNC operating experience, with Kinetic machines being advantageous.
Forklift ticket is advantageous.
Experience:
Prior experience in steel processing or sheet metal workshop preferred. Knowledge of materials and metallurgy is beneficial.
Skills:
Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Ability to support machine operations and maintain high performance standards.
Team-oriented with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Willingness to learn and apply training effectively.
Forklift ticket and overhead crane experience are advantageous.
PERFORMANCE GOALS:
Production Efficiency: Maintain high levels of productivity.
Professionalism: Engage in professional interactions with clients, suppliers, and colleagues always.
Delivery Performance: Ensure deliveries meet expectations—on time and in full.
Attendance: Maintain good attendance records.
