Job Description
Hiring for "Cluster Head-Agri Business" in a leading Bank.
Location-Ahmedabad.
To lead and manage the Agri Banking business across the assigned cluster/region by driving sales, ensuring portfolio growth, maintaining asset quality, and developing strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
Responsible for achieving business targets, expanding market presence, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
Key Deliverables / KPIs:
Business Growth:
- Achieve monthly/quarterly business targets for Agri loans, deposits & fee income.
- Increase cluster market share in Agri finance.
Portfolio Quality:
- Maintain PAR (Portfolio at Risk) & NPA within approved limits.
- Ensure timely renewal and monitoring of accounts.
Team Productivity:
- Ensure 100% manpower availability at branches.
- Drive team performance through training, reviews, and target achievements.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Strengthen relationships with farmers, FPOs, agri-MSMEs, and co-operatives.
- Leverage government schemes & subsidy programs for business.
Compliance & Risk:
- 100% adherence to audit norms, credit policy, and regulatory guidelines.
- Zero tolerance for compliance lapses.
Innovation & Digital:
- Drive digital penetration (UPI, KCC cards, mobile banking, etc.) in rural/agri segment.
- Support adoption of new agri-linked financial products.
Requirements:
- Graduate/Post-Graduate in Agriculture, Agri Business, Finance, or related fields (MBA preferred).
- 10 to 15 years of banking experience with strong exposure to Agri / Rural banking.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, and portfolio management.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of local Agri markets, government schemes, and agri value chains.
