The Cloud Virtualization Consultant/Architect is a customer facing IT professional responsible for Designing and deploying the application architecture for Virtualization and cloud solutions, comprising the public, private and hybrid clouds. They are considered SMEs in Cloud and Virtualization space. These IT professionals serve as advisors to the organization and stay up-to-date on the new trends and issues. A consultant looks to review the cloud computing strategy of an organization either at a client location or on-site. With the rise of digital platforms, virtualization plays an important role. Engineers leverage their skills and knowledge of virtualization in order to manage client-server virtualization for best productivity.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:
To design and oversee an organization’s Cloud computing and virtualization strategy
To implement security policies and secure access methods
To implement, maintain and secure roaming profiles and folder redirection to safeguard user accessibility and functionality
Implement best practices for cloud and virtualization technologies
To work closely with vendor technical consultants and sales support to resolve issues
To manage customer account satisfaction from a technical standpoint
To deliver customized cloud virtualization from different vendors including Citrix, Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Dell, and HP, etc
Emerges as a significant contributor and leader on project efforts, with the ability to assume responsibility/ownership for entire project components.
Grows technical capacity beyond the core virtualization and cloud products and underlying technologies. Able to break down complex problems into manageable pieces and follow a structured process to resolve them.
