General Purpose of Position
Responsible for accepting, tracking and maintaining clothing donations. Sees to it that certain items are reclaimed and others disposed of.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains DL clothing room on a day-to day basis.
Organizes clothing donations and keeps clothing area neat and orderly.
Trains resident and volunteer workers as needed.
Sorts clothing for DL according to gender, style and color.
Makes sure adequate numbers of hangers are maintained in an orderly fashion.
Maintains order and flow of volunteer groups of various sizes and ages.
Assists in a variety of special assignments requested by the Executive Director.
