Job Description
We are seeking clinical typists with a broad knowledge of medical terminology to join our team.
Previous typing experience, high computer literacy, and ability to work independently are essential.
Experience with hospital management systems and teamwork is advantageous, however training will be provided.

Good communication skills, high attention to detail, and positive attitude.
Competent typing skills.
A good understanding of medical terminology.
Previous medical typing experience is an advantage.
Sound knowledge of English, including spelling and grammar.
Knowledge of office systems, including digital dictation systems.
Accurate entry of confidential medical information.
Excellent time management skills.
Adaptability, versatility, and ability to cope with change and meet new challenges.
Willingness to work as a team member.
Knowledge and understanding of Treaty of Waitangi.
Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
Experience upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly in healthcare settings.
