Job Description

Join the TrueNorth Respiratory Team as a Clinical Consultant

We are seeking a detail-oriented, patient-focused Clinical Consultant to join our multidisciplinary clinic team. This role focuses on providing individualized care, coaching and education, and support to patients across multiple areas of expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide exceptional and compassionate cross-functional patient care
Complete home oxygen set ups, equipment troubleshooting, and equipment education to patients with clear communication
Support Continuous Positive Air Pressure (CPAP) patients withtroubleshooting, mask fits, data downloads, and machine adjustments
Perform spirometry in accordance with established ATS/ERS standards
Apply motivational coaching techniques to support patients in achieving optimal test results
Ensure quality assurance, including equipment processing and equipment check outs
Maintain strict infection prevention and control practices
Maintain strict Health and Safety practices in accordance with internal policies
Required assets:

Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Registered Respiratory Therapist
Valid driver's license
Vulnerable Sector Check
Strong written and oral communication
Desired assets:

First Aid/CPR-C certification
WHMIS knowledge
Health & Safety Experience
Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
