Role Description The Clinic Administrator/Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cambridge, ON, responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinic operations and ensuring a positive experience for all patients and team members. This role includes managing front-desk activities, appointment scheduling, patient intake, and efficient handling of clinic communications. The individual will coordinate staff schedules, support onboarding and training, and maintain organized medical records and documentation in line with regulatory and privacy requirements. They will assist with budgeting, basic financial tracking, and resource allocation to support clinic efficiency and profitability. The Clinic Administrator/Manager will also handle customer service concerns, support quality improvement initiatives, and work closely with clinicians to ensure smooth delivery of care.
Qualifications
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and support a welcoming patient experience.
• Experience with budgeting, basic financial administration, and managing clinic resources effectively.
• Proficiency in managing medical records, documentation, and privacy compliance within a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Ability to provide training and onboarding support for administrative and clinical staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with healthcare or rehabilitation settings and basic understanding of medicine or physiotherapy-related terminology is an asset.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Competence in using clinic management software, electronic scheduling systems, and standard office applications.
• Previous experience in clinic administration, healthcare management, or a related role; post-secondary education in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is preferred.
