At Facts & Figures we specialise in managing the finance, accountancy and tax affairs of a wealth of clients covering a large variety of sectors and we are looking for a client manager to join our growing practice in Edinburgh.
As one of our client managers, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of a portfolio of clients, ensuring that we provide excellent client service throughout. You will also be expected to train and support the wider team in the office and seek out opportunities for the firm to grow further, either through improving our internal processes or through taking on new work.
Responsibilities:
Maintain your own portfolio of clients, striving to provide excellent client service in all areas
Liaise with clients with respect to queries and build client relationships
Ensure that deadlines are met
Maintain a commercial relationship between the services that we provide and the time that each service takes, by monitoring job recovery for own portfolio of work
Maintain productivity in line with expectations and budget
Seek opportunities to grow the service offering with existing clients
Delegate and ensure the timely completion of work including:
accounts for companies, LLPs and unincorporated businesses
CT600 Corporation Tax Returns
Personal Tax Returns
VAT Returns
P11Ds
Weekly and monthly payroll
Preparation of the above where delegation is not possible
Meet potential new clients and complete standard onboarding procedures
Trains and coaches junior members of the team to aid their development
Seeks out development opportunities for self and others
Other ad hoc duties as and when required from the Practice Manager and Director
Skills and Experience:
Experience within an accountancy practice
Previous experience of managing a portfolio of clients
Part-qualified/Qualified accountant or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
We are also open to applications from experienced accountants looking for their next role and are looking for someone motivated and enthusiastic to help grow our business further.
Full training will be provided and it is encouraged that you should undertake a relevant professional qualification (eg. AAT, ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA) in conjunction with a training contract offered by the firm.

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
