Job Description
Our Napier branch is actively seeking experienced Delivery Drivers (Class 2) to join our growing, supportive team that values hard work, collaboration, and a positive attitude.
Position snapshot:
Permanent, full-time role
Immediate start
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday| 06.00 am to 04.00 pm
Location: Turner Place, Onekawa, Napier

About the role:
As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. You’ll deliver a wide range of food products across Hawkes Bay region, while providing outstanding customer service.
Key responsibilities:
Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goods
Load and unload products, ensuring they are securely and safely transported
Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely manner
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient delivery
Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly
Assist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runs
Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirements
Perform daily checks – oils, coolant, WOF etc.
Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required
Help warehouse team if needed
About You
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, customer-focused, and ready to hit the ground running.
You will have the following skills and attributes:
A full Class 2 driver’s license, must be able to drive manual
Have clear communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of Hawke's Bay and its surrounding areas is a plus
Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills
Be confident, reliable, flexible and have attention to detail
Clean driving and criminal records
Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients.
Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 20 kgs.
Possess good organisational and time management skills.
Be a team player with a positive attitude
Have reliable transport for commute
