The Best Connection Scotland is on the lookout for dedicated Class 1 drivers to work with ourhighly regarded client based at multiple locations across Glasgow. Whether you're looking for a full-time role, a few part-time shifts, or just the odd weekend, we have the flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
Why Join Us?
• Variety of Routes: Experience exciting journeys, from double-manned trunking to Birmingham (14-16 hour shifts) to single-man routes to Carlisle, Inverness, Aberdeen, and beyond!
• Tramping Opportunities: Love the open road? Stay in the Carlisle Truck Stop while trunking between Birmingham and Carlisle.
• Flexible Shifts: We offer shifts 7 days a week, with options for weekend-only work if that suits your lifestyle.
What Youll Need
• A valid C&E Licence, CPC, and Digi Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence (no major endorsements like DR, DD, IN)
• A minimum of 12 months driving experience recorded on your Digi Card
• Driving assessment required before starting work
Why Work with Us?
• Competitive Pay:
• Monday to Friday: £17.20 per hour, with overtime after 8 hours
• Overtime/Weekends:
• Mon-Fri Overtime & Saturday: £21.8+
• Saturday Overtime & Sunday: £23.44 (all hours)
