Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Claims Specialist in Green Bay to collect information from various sources when presented with a claim. The Claims Specialist will work with other team members throughout the entire claims process, with the goal of settling and subrogating the claim.
Responsibilities:
Create accident claims that come in via phone call or email message.
Add information to claims, such as loss details, subrogation status, accident classification and involved parties.
Follow up with the Department of Transportation regarding claims.
Hire independent adjusters for major accidents.
Request police reports.
Provide information to the Regulatory Department about driver accident classification appeals.
Audit invoices from suppliers.
Respond to claim inquiries via phone calls and emails.
Skills and qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
1 year of professional work experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Outstanding problem-solving skills.
