Job Description
- Cisco Architecture Support: Specialize in supporting Cisco architecture, ensuring seamless integration and performance across the network.
- Routing and Switching Knowledge: Exhibit expert-level knowledge in Cisco routing and switching, including advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Traffic Management: Implement and manage traffic diversion strategies as required to optimize network performance.
- Packet Shaper Technologies: Apply expert-level understanding of packet shaper technologies to enhance network efficiency.
- Access Control Configuration: Configure Access Control Lists (ACL) for port openings on branch routers, ensuring secure and efficient traffic flow.
- Routing Protocols Expertise: Maintain strong hands-on experience with routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, as well as Nexus switches and Cisco ACI.
- MPLS and ILL Understanding: Exhibit expert understanding of MPLS and Internet Leased Line (ILL) networks.
- VLAN and Tunnel Configuration: Configure and manage VLANs, VXLANs, HSRP, IP SLA, and tracking in HSRP, as well as GRE and VPN tunnels.
- Port-Channel and Switch Stacking: Manage Port-Channel configurations and switch stacking for enhanced network resilience.
- Configuration Troubleshooting: Demonstrate hands-on experience in Nexus and ACI configuration troubleshooting to maintain network integrity.
- SD-WAN Knowledge: Possess knowledge of SD-WAN solutions to support modern networking needs.
- Basic Security Understanding: Have a foundational understanding of firewalls and other security products to ensure comprehensive network protection.
- IP Schema Management: Manage IP schema across different zones (MZ/DMZ/Azure/AWS) to maintain organized and efficient IP allocation.

- Escalation Management: Handle escalated calls from the L3 team, effectively addressing complex network issues.
- NOC Process Familiarity: Understand NOC processes, including ITSM workflows and ticket updates during troubleshooting activities.
- Incident Management: Efficiently manage Priority 1 (P1) incidents, escalating issues to the appropriate stakeholders as necessary.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, handling periodic audits and assessments to maintain security and operational integrity.
- Network Architecture Design: Capable of designing network architectures that align with enterprise operational needs.
• Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in networking, with a strong focus on Cisco technologies.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCIE Data Center or Routing & Switching, or equivalent are required.
