Job Description
FTIH Film School is looking for a passionate and experienced Cinematography Faculty to train aspiring filmmakers with practical and industry-oriented knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Teach cinematography fundamentals and advanced camera techniques
Train students in camera handling, lighting setups, framing, composition, and visual storytelling
Conduct practical sessions, workshops, and on-set demonstrations
Guide students in short film and project shoots
Explain lensing, camera movements, exposure, color temperature, and shot design
Support students in portfolio and showreel development
Coordinate with academic and production teams as per syllabus requirements
Requirements:
Experience in cinematography, filmmaking, or visual production
Strong knowledge of DSLR, Mirrorless, Cinema Cameras, and Lighting Equipment
Practical industry experience preferred
Good communication and teaching skills
Passion for mentoring students and hands-on training
Knowledge of current filmmaking trends and workflows
Preferred Skills:
Experience with short films, ads, music videos, or feature film projects
Understanding of basic editing and color grading workflows
Ability to handle practical production environments
Location: FTIH Film School
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
