CIELSEL28106 Head QHSE

This position is created to Head the quality & HSE team, in driving the thinking, program development, and culture around safety and quality management.

To do this, we need a person with practical hands experience in the field and the capability to lead high-impact program implementation, and the interpersonal skills to motivate behavioral changes.

Develop Standards
• Help develop standard quality processes in collaboration with project execution teams
• Assist team(s) in identifying longer-term issues during the plant operation and collate all the learning to apply in continuous improvement processes
• Create, and update construction/material quality manual
• Lead the Quality and Safety committee to develop company-wide safety standards that represent industry best practices and comply with applicable regulations

Lead Implementation
• Initiate and lead programs to create a suitable work class safety and quality culture. Communicate and engage people at all levels and roles in Safety and Quality
• Develop and conduct training on a variety of topics related to safety and quality programs, initiatives and awareness
• Lead activities related to achieving and maintaining ISO or other certificates

Position Experience
• 10-15 years’ relevant experience
• Expertise in managing relevant standards in Quality and ESH functions and proven track record
• Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
• Proven Project management and Quality/ESH experience

Desired Technical Skills
• Considerable and diverse demonstrable experience of leading a Quality/ESH function with proven track records in strategic Quality/ ESH leadership delivering effective strategies, policies, processes and systems
