Chinese Speaking Receptionist/Administrator
Job Description
Responsibilities
Welcome residents, family members, visitors, and service providers in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide exceptional customer service and serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, concerns, and requests.
Answer and manage incoming telephone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
Assist residents and families with information, forms, appointments, and general administrative support.
Maintain accurate records, files, correspondence, and resident-related documentation.
Coordinate appointments, meetings, events, and community activities as required.
Communicate effectively in both Chinese and English to support residents, families, and visitors from diverse backgrounds.
Assist with move-in and orientation processes for new residents and their families.
Monitor visitor sign-in procedures and support community safety and security protocols.
Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception area.
Support management and other team members with administrative and office-related tasks.
Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external service providers.
Qualifications
Previous experience in reception, administration, customer service, hospitality, healthcare, retirement living, or a related field.
Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English (spoken and written)- this is a requirement.
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact respectfully and professionally with seniors, family members, and visitors.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a busy environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office software.
Professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Experience working in a retirement residence, senior living community, healthcare setting, or customer service environment is considered an asset.

Pay: $41,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
