Job Description
As a Chief Programmer / Principal Engineer for AI Products located in Northeast India, specifically North Bengal, you will play a crucial role in architecting, coding, and scaling AI-driven products from MVP to production scale. Your responsibilities will include designing system architecture, building high-availability backend systems, and making core decisions on technology stack, data flow, and infrastructure trade-offs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own system architecture for a scalable B2C / B2B AI product.
- Design high-availability, low-latency backend systems.
- Make core decisions on tech stack, data flow, and infra trade-offs.
- Write production-grade code daily across MERN stack and Python services.
- Lead LLM integration and customisation, hands-on experience with model training and evaluation.
- Design and manage CI / CD pipelines end-to-end.
- Act as the technical owner of the product and mentor senior and mid-level engineers.
Qualifications Required:
- 12+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Ex-founder / early startup engineer / principal engineer background.
- Proven record of individually contributing to a scalable B2C or B2B product.
- Deep hands-on expertise in MERN Stack, Python, AI / LLM systems, and CI / CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and reliability.
- Must be based in Bangalore or willing to relocate.
