We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join our science department. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage students in practical and theoretical learning from middle to senior secondary levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and interactive Chemistry lessons aligned with the curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board/IB – as applicable).
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and laboratory activities.
Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom and lab.
Encourage and support student participation in science exhibitions, olympiads, and project work.
Maintain accurate records of students' grades, attendance, and academic performance.
Ensure the safe use and handling of chemicals and lab equipment.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
Support school initiatives, parent-teacher interactions, and co-curricular activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred or as per school norms).
Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience at the secondary or senior secondary level (Freshers with strong academic background may also apply).
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Strong understanding of laboratory safety and practical instruction.
Technologically proficient and able to use ICT tools for teaching and assessment.
