Chemical Laboratory Technician in Calgary

Acuren Group is seeking a passionate Chemical Laboratory Technician to enhance our Calgary team. This full-time position involves laboratory analysis and sample testing with a keen focus on detail and safety.
As a Chemical Laboratory Technician with Acuren, you will be involved in laboratory sample preparation and testing, following established protocols. Key tasks include conducting NACE/AMPP Sour Gas Corrosion Testing, and maintaining the lab's equipment and workspace. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare samples for Sour Gas Corrosion Testing
• Conduct materials tests as per ASTM standards
• Maintain laboratory equipment and tools in good condition
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment
• Timely reporting of test results and analyses
Requirements:
• Technical diploma in Chemical or related field preferred
• Previous laboratory or industrial experience required
• Familiarity with NACE/AMPP and ASTM standards an asset
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
