Role: REACH-Chemical Compliance Engineer (Junior / Mid-Level)

Required Experience : 4-7 Years

Location: Bangalore

Required Skillset:
• Basic understanding of engineering materials & surface finishes (base materials, coatings, surface treatments).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & BoMs (training will be provided for deep-dive extraction).
• Familiarity with REACH fundamentals: SVHC awareness, material composition basics, MOC concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with CATIA V5 and/or SolidWorks for simple data extraction, measurements, or weight validation.
• Good MS Excel skills for completing compliance templates.
• Exposure to PLM tools (Teamcenter/Enovia) preferred but not mandatory.
• Exposure to CDX/Assent portals is optional (training provided).

Must Have:
• Ability to interpret drawings, material callouts, and basic specifications.
• Extract part‑level material/coating info from drawings and SDS with guidance.
• Perform basic MOC checks and support SVHC identification using templates.
• Use CATIA V5 / SolidWorks for basic data extraction (dimensions, weight validation).
• Strong communication, willingness to learn, and quality-focused working style.
• Ability to follow structured checklists and review processes.
• Exposure to CDX/Assent data entry.
• Familiarity with REACH SVHC threshold (%) process (training provided).
• Awareness of global regulations such as RoHS, PFAS, CLP, GHS.
• Prior experience in aerospace or industrial engineering domains.

PLM experience (Teamcenter/Enovia).
