Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and special offerings.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
• Assist in maintaining a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Creative flair for developing new dishes while adhering to established standards.
