This beautiful Country Hotel, located near Hereford, seeks a talented Chef de Partie to join their dynamic kitchen brigade. The hotel offers luxury accommodation with 300 beautifully designed bedrooms and a dual dining experience: the relaxed Market Kitchen and the formal Brasserie.
This is an exciting chance to be part of a team that prides itself on delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Role Overview
As Chef de Partie, you’ll manage your designated section in a kitchen team of 30 chefs, contributing to the smooth operation of a high-volume kitchen. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in maintaining quality and consistency in a fast-paced, busy environment, particularly during evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
• Cooking & Presentation: Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your specialty area to the highest standard.
• Section Management: Take full responsibility for your section, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively.
• Training & Mentorship: Guide and train any demi-chef de parties or commis chefs assigned to your section.
• Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop innovative dishes and menus.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain high standards of food hygiene and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Portion Control: Monitor portion sizes and control waste to support profitability.
