You will be responsible for delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
The role demands strong knife skills and the ability to manage high-volume food preparation in a busy setting.
Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and dicing in preparation for cooking.
Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised, and complies with strict hygiene standards at all times.
Maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring everything is in top working order.
Assist with stock rotation and ensure ingredients are stored correctly.
Support other chefs and kitchen staff in daily kitchen operations.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Follow instructions from the kitchen team to assist with food preparation and plating.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Proven knife skills and experience in food preparation.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Previous experience in a chef or kitchen hand role is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to follow instructions and perform well under pressure.
