Job Title: Chartered Accountant (Fresher)
Location: Mumbai
Department: Finance & Investments
Experience: 0–2 years (Freshly Qualified CA)
Job Summary
KHGIF is a Venture Capital fund focused on long-term value creation. We are looking for a recently qualified Chartered Accountant to support core finance, fund accounting, compliance, and investment-related financial analysis. The role provides hands-on exposure to VC fund operations, portfolio company finance, regulatory reporting, and investor communication.
Key ResponsibilitiesFund Accounting & Finance
- Maintain books of accounts for the VC fund and SPVs
- Support NAV computation, capital calls, and distribution workings
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Compliance & Regulatory
- Support compliance with SEBI AIF regulations and related filings
- Assist in audit coordination for fund and portfolio entities
- Maintain investor documentation and statutory records
Taxation
- Assist in direct and indirect tax compliance for the fund and SPVs
- Support tax workings for capital gains, carry, and pass-through taxation
- Coordinate with tax advisors and auditors
Portfolio & Investment Support
- Assist in financial analysis of portfolio companies
- Support due diligence processes for new investments
- Help track portfolio performance, budgets, and cash flows
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong grounding in accounting, taxation, and audit
- Interest in Venture Capital, startups, and investments
- Strong Excel skills; exposure to financial models is a plus
- High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
- Good communication and documentation skills
Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – recently qualified
- Articleship exposure to audit, taxation, or fund accounting preferred
