Job Description

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to support our financial operations and strategic decision-making.
Job Overview
The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support business operations. This role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, payroll processing, and bookkeeping, as well as experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.
Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment approvals.
Process payroll, including T4s, ROEs, and other reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Utilize QuickBooks, or similar accounting software for financial record-keeping.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business planning and decision-making.
Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with internal teams to communicate financial performance metrics.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
Solid understanding of bank reconciliation, accounts payable management, and payroll processing.
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills to convey financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
