Role Description This Chartered Accountancy Articleship Trainee role is an on-site internship based in Delhi, OH. The trainee will assist in statutory audits, including vouching, testing controls, and preparing working papers. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accounting records, supporting the preparation of financial statements, and helping with direct and indirect tax computations and filings. The role also involves compiling data for reports, performing basic financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations. The trainee will collaborate with senior team members, attend client meetings as required, and maintain accurate documentation of all assignments.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing concepts, and basic taxation.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a professional environment.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) with eligibility for articleship; relevant academic background in commerce, finance, or accounting preferred.
• Willingness to learn, openness to feedback, and commitment to ethical and professional standards.
