Full job description
We are looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and provide pediatric occupational therapy services in our pediatric clinics and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Occupational Therapists in providing therapeutic interventions to children with physical, developmental, and/or cognitive disabilities. The COTA must have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with children of all ages and/or disorders. *** Signing Bonus - $1000.00**

**Schedule is four (4) days per week from 3:00 - 7:00p. Possibly one Friday per month to cover make-up sessions.**

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Assist in the implementation of therapeutic activities and exercises.
Provide patient education and support.
Document patient progress and outcomes.
Monitor and report changes in patient status to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $42.00 - $46.00 per hour
