Job Description
Welcome to RG Spa & Wellness: Affordable Luxury. Edmonton’s top-rated day spa, we are nestled in Edmonton’s breathtaking river valley in the renowned Royal Glenora Club. We offer exclusive protocols and product lines such as 111SKIN from London.
RG Spa is in search of a certified Esthetician who is committed to luxury and excellence within their field, with a minimum of 1-3 years experience. The current position is for 16+ hours a week, including evenings and weekends when needed, as we are open 7 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide all esthetic services to clients
- Conduct consultations with clients to determine their skincare needs and goals
- Recommend and educate on appropriate skincare products, treatments and home regimens based on individual client needs to enhance the client experience and outcomes
- Perform skin analysis and make customized treatment plans
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism within a team environment
- Assist as needed with guest services, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls and taking payments
Qualifications:
- Valid esthetician diploma/certificate
- Proven experience in providing esthetician services, including facials, waxing/brazilian, body treatments, dermaplaning, manicures and pedicures
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Knowledge of skincare products and their benefits
- Ability to analyze skin conditions and recommend appropriate treatments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- A fun, vibrant personality with experience in hospitality or guest services is a plus
We offer hands-on training and you will learn to provide our full service menu, including SkinPen microneedling, microdermabrasion and Hydrafacials. You will provide services to your clients, make product recommendations and sales and update client portfolios. All team members will help with cleaning and sanitation protocols, room turn over and set up, laundry and overall cleanliness of the facility.
