Key Job Summary
The Senior Consolidations Accountant will be responsible for leading complex financial reporting activities, including the preparation of accounts and balance sheet management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government frameworks and experience in consolidations within a large government department.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead complex account preparations, including journal adjustments and note production.
Liaise with organisation to resolve queries and ensure audit progression.
Provide accounting advice aligned with government frameworks to internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Accountant with extensive consolidations experience.
Whole of Government Accounts (WGA) knowledge and experience.
Experience in consolidations within a large government department, ideally HM Treasury.
