What are we looking for?
We’re currently seeking Demi's and CDPs for our Boatbuilders Yard venue on South Wharf, Melbourne
Our kitchens are high-energy, fast-paced environments where creativity, consistency, and collaboration are key.
Our CDP's:
Run your designated section during service and assist the junior chefs with their sections. Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Sous.
Ensure all dishes meet food specs, presentation standards and quality expectations
Prepare, cook and plate food efficiently during service
Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times
Assist with ordering, stock control and minimising waste within your section
Train, guide and support Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs
Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and Senior Leaders of the Kitchen Team
Lead by example and help maintain a positive, respectful kitchen culture
Our Demi Chefs:
Assist the Chef de Partie with day‑to‑day running of the section
Prepare ingredients and components ahead of service
Cook and plate dishes to the required standard under guidance
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your workstation
Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures
Support smooth service by communicating clearly with the team
Learn menus, recipes and kitchen systems
Step up to run the section when required, under supervision
