Position Summary
Seeking a full-time, year-round CDL-A Driver / Plumbers Helper in Rockville Centre, NY to operate company vehicles, perform physical labor, and assist with water and sewer line work. Must be safety-minded, team-oriented, and ready for outdoor conditions.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities for the CDL A Driver / Plumbers Helper role include:
Safely operate CDL Class A vehicles and company equipment
Perform physical labor: trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and site clean-up
Transport materials and equipment to job sites
Work outdoors in all weather as part of a team
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and follow safety, OSHA, and DOT regulations
Assist plumbers as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
Experience working in construction
Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with safety regulations
Team-oriented with ability to work in demanding physical conditions
OSHA 30 preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
