Monday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
Wednesday - Saturday: 2:00pm - 8:00pm

To make this happen, we need a Catering Assistant who is passionate about excellent service to support our chefs in the kitchen.
What You'll Be Doing
Assisting with food preparation and meal service
Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment
Washing dishes and supporting general kitchen operations
Following food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
Safely handling commercial kitchen equipment, hot trays, and large pots
Supporting the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people
Is reliable, punctual, and willing to pitch in where needed
Works well as part of a team and can also work independently
Can follow instructions and remain efficient in a busy environment
Has good time management and organisational skills
Understands, or is willing to learn, New Zealand food safety requirements
Demonstrates respect, care, and compassion when working in an aged care setting
Previous kitchen or catering experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
