We currently have a vacancy for a full-time Catering Assistant within our Canberra Operations team.

Key Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide catering services including Barista, Waiter service, food preparation, plating service and handling
Managing the servicing of all staff kitchen areas, including supplies and cleaning
Monitor all catering stock levels and arrange for ordering
Review, manage and maintain the EMS Meeting and Room Scheduling Software in coordination with Reception
Set, up, configure, clear and clean kitchens, client meeting rooms, conference rooms, lunches, functions, and events
Kitchenhand duties including food prep, plating and dishes
Ensure all catering equipment is appropriately maintained and serviced
Where necessary out of hours work may be required to support events and functions

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
Basic knife skills and knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
A preference for 1-2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
