About Gemini
Gemini is Coburg's neighbourhood wine bar, bottle shop and all-day eatery — a place where community, creativity and good food intersect. We're housed in a restored 1888 bluestone building on Sydney Road, and our menu is euro-leaning, seasonal and designed to pair beautifully with wine.
The Role
We're looking for a reliable Morning Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a prep-focused morning role with simple breakfast preparation.
We're open to casual or permanent part-time arrangements — 20–30 hours per week across a mix of morning shifts, and the occasional evening shift if you're available.
What You'll Do
Prepare mise en place and ingredients for morning service
Cook breakfast items to recipe spec and presentation standards
Maintain food safety, cleanliness and an organised station
Assist with stock rotation and deliveries
Support the kitchen team with simple sections during service
Who You Are
Some experience in a professional kitchen
Reliable, calm and ready to go from the moment you arrive
Strong food hygiene practices
Positive attitude and great communication
Available across weekday and weekend mornings

$25.85/hr part-time $33.85/hr casual (Mon–Fri ordinary hours)
