Our Corporate group operates across industries and borders advising private and public businesses, government and a diverse client base to solve complex legal issues.

Offering a range of commercial legal specialisations spanning MA, capital markets, structuring, corporate governance and contractual agreements, technology, data and privacy, intellectual property, cyber security, sport and more.

This role is a 12 month fixed-term, full-time opportunity.

About the Role

Typing, formatting, mark-up, proof reading and collating contracts, documents and agreements
Drafting basic correspondence
Preparing client bills using Aderant and complying with invoicing/engagement requirements (i.e. obtaining purchase orders, e-billing systems)
Management of other internal financial queries including end of financial year trust statements
Preparing monthly client reports and accounts
Debtor control and assisting the Credit Team with following up outstanding accounts
Creation of new clients and matters through Aderant
Conduct company, organisational and PPSR searches
Marketing support including updating Interaction to include client contacts, updating invite lists for events etc
Arranging travel and accommodation through CTM platform
Processing expense claims via Zeno
Electronic file management
Coordinating and arranging meetings including video conferencing via Microsoft Teams
Organisation of in-house and external seminars/conferences for lawyers and graduates
Liaising with clients, lawyers and other staff in an efficient and professional manner
Diary coordination and management of calendar invitations and appointments
Dictation when required using BigHand system
About You

Certificate in Legal Studies desired but not essential
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
A working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe
Knowledge of practice, document management and billing systems desired (Aderant or 3e experience highly desired)
Administrative support experience gained in a law firm is essential. Corporate law exposure is highly desired
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, spelling and grammar
Proven decision making and problem-solving ability
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
The ability to build strong working relationships and skilfully deal with people at all levels throughout the firm
Strong team collaboration skills with an ability to lead by example
A strong customer service focus with a high level of responsiveness
Strong attention to detail
The ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion
A desire to learn and develop new skills
A flexible, friendly and approachable manner
