About the Role
We are seeking NZ-certified Healthcare Assistants to join our Temporary Staffing Bureau at Te Toka Tumai | Auckland Hospital on a casual basis.
In this role, you will work under the direction and delegation of Registered Nurses, Midwives, and other healthcare professionals to support the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment while making a meaningful difference to patients and their whanau.
This is a casual position, working on an as-required basis with no guaranteed hours.
To be successful in this position
You will have:
NZQA Level 3 or 4 Health & Wellbeing qualification
Minimum of 1 year HCA experience in New Zealand, including clinical experience
Strong communication skills and proficiency in English (written and verbal)
Intermediate computer skills
The ability to meet the physical demands of the role
A reliable, flexible approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
A proactive attitude and commitment to providing quality patient care
