Cashier – Oasis Baklawa
Job Title: Cashier
Department: Retail Operations
Location: Oasis Baklawa Store
Reporting To: Store Manager
Job Summary
The Cashier is responsible for providing a welcoming customer experience by accurately processing sales transactions, maintaining cash and billing records, and supporting day-to-day store operations. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude while upholding Oasis Baklawa's premium brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
Process cash, card, UPI, and other digital payments accurately.
Generate invoices and issue receipts for every transaction.
Maintain the cash drawer and ensure accurate opening and closing cash balances.
Assist customers with product information, pricing, offers, and gift packaging options.
Handle returns, exchanges, and customer queries in accordance with company policies.
Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth customer flow during peak hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing counter.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Graduate preferred).
1–3 years of experience as a cashier or retail sales associate.
Experience in a bakery, confectionery, café, or premium retail store is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS billing systems.
Numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Billing accuracy.
Cash reconciliation accuracy.
Customer satisfaction.
Transaction processing speed.
Compliance with company policies and SOPs.
Working Conditions
Retail store environment.
Standing for extended periods.
Rotational shifts, including weekends and festive seasons
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
