We are currently hiring a part-time dual role for Cashier and Gas Jockey for our brand-new fuel and convenience location at 4820 Portage Avenue in Headingley, Manitoba. This is a front-line customer service role responsible for delivering fast, friendly service while maintaining a clean, safe and professional store environment.

Key Responsibilities of Cashier

· Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

· Process all transactions accurately (cash, debit, credit)

· Operate POS (point-of-sale) system

· Promote in-store specials and customer loyalty programs

· Stock shelves, coolers, and displays

· Maintain store cleanliness (floors, counters, washrooms, coffee station, etc.)

· Monitor inventory levels and report low stock

· Follow all safety, loss prevention, and food safety procedures

· Assist with opening and closing duties when required

Key Responsibilities of Gas Jockey

· Provide full-service or assisted fuel service to customers

· Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner

· Process cash, debit and credit card transactions accurately

· Assist customers with basic questions and directions

· Maintain cleanliness of the fuel islands and surrounding property

· Perform safety checks and follow all fuel handling procedures

· Assist with light restocking and general site cleanliness

· Report equipment issues, spills, or safety concerns immediately

· A positive, respectful team environment

Qualifications & Requirements

· Must be reliable and punctual

· Strong customer service and communication skills

· Basic math and cash-handling abilities

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
