Job Description
4:00PM-9:00PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier and Customer Service Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming environment for every customer. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face that provides exceptional service, handles transactions efficiently, and ensures our store runs smoothly. Your proactive approach will help customers find what they need, answer their questions, and leave with a positive experience. Responsibilities
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges with speed and precision
Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries
Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to enhance sales
Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity, including counting cash drawers and balancing registers at shift end
Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible
Assist with stocking duties, including unloading deliveries and organizing inventory in the storage areas
Use strong communication skills to engage with customers via phone etiquette or in person, ensuring their needs are met efficiently
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with a diverse customer base
Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team
Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail merchandising is beneficial but not mandatory
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed
