Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food preparation and POS systems are highly valued. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take food and beverage orders accurately using Micros POS or similar systems
Handle cash transactions efficiently and responsibly, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Prepare and serve food items following proper food safety and sanitation standards
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations in accordance with sanitation guidelines
Assist in food preparation as needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic tasks
Ensure timely delivery of orders to customers, managing time effectively during busy periods
Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
A reliable mode of transportation or live within walking distance
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
Strong customer service skills
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures ( **Having a valid Food handler certificate is a huge bonus)
Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume service periods
