Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team at Love Lane Market. As a cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions efficiently and providing excellent customer service. Your role is essential in ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping experience.
Greet customers warmly as they enter and approach the checkout counter
Accurately scan, price, and bag merchandise
Process cash, credit, debit, and other payment transactions
Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as needed
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Answer customer inquiries and assist with product location when necessary
Follow all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling
Count and reconcile cash drawer at beginning and end of shift
Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor or manager
Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness when not at the register
