Role and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide fast, courteous, and accurate checkout services that reflect Lowe's dedication to customer satisfaction. Along with handling transactions, you may assist in maintaining store appearance, support other departments, and address customer needs throughout the store.
• Offer prompt, friendly, and professional checkout support.
• Assist customers using self-checkout stations.
• Accurately scan, bag, and process merchandise.
• Operate registers, process payments, and manage exchanges.
• Respond to customer questions and provide guidance when needed.
• Keep the checkout area clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Complete additional assigned tasks as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Basic reading, writing, and math abilities.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
• Familiarity with computers for data entry and retrieving information.
• Capability to lift at least 10 lbs without assistance or over 15 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Ability to meet any state-required sales-related licensing or registration requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in retail or customer service.
• Bilingual communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
