Role Description

The Case Worker Link Up position provides support to members who have been affected by removal policies relating to Stolen Generation. The position provides support to access healing and social and emotional wellbeing services and family tracing to achieve reunification with their families.


To be considered for this position, you will require:

Degree in social work and eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or degree or post-graduate qualifications in Psychology or related discipline which is deemed equivalent and willingness to undertake further training;
Demonstrated experience providing client focused case management practices including research, information seeking and assessment skills, applicable to Aboriginal people and a demonstrated understanding of the history and impacts of the forcible removal of Aboriginal children, and knowledge of the social and emotional wellbeing needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people;
Demonstrated organized and time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as a member of a team
Current Drivers Licence.
