Carpet Installer (Project-Based)
Job Description
INSSKI Construction is seeking an experienced Carpet Installer to support upcoming flooring projects across Los Angeles County. This is a project-based position with the opportunity for ongoing work as project volume grows.
We are looking for a dependable professional with experience installing large areas of glue-down carpet who takes pride in clean, precise installation and jobsite professionalism.
Responsibilities
Install commercial carpet using glue-down methods
Prepare and inspect substrates before installation
Perform layout, cutting, seam work, and finishing
Maintain clean edges, proper alignment, and professional finish quality
Assist with related tasks such as material handling, floor preparation, and minor jobsite work as needed
Work independently and maintain productivity when supervision is limited
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Requirements
Proven experience installing commercial or large-area carpet flooring
Strong knowledge of glue-down carpet installation techniques
Ability to perform layout, seam alignment, trimming, and finishing
Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently
Basic flooring tools and reliable transportation
Authorization to work in the United States
Willingness to work on a per-project basis (no guaranteed full-time schedule)

Pay: $32.50 - $35.00 per hour
