The Job

We are looking for qualified and experienced carpenter who want to build their career with Breen based within in the Jobbing and Insurance team.

As this role has a level of autonomy, you will be a self starter, with good time management and have the ability to work independently.

Your tasks may include concrete work, framing, hardware, insulations, joinery, siteworks, trims and finishing, windows and doors, erecting walls, building stairs, or precision tasks such as repairing furniture or installing cabinets, trim and moulding, as well as excavations, demolition work, precast erection, reinforcing steel, and roof framing.

About you

Proven experience as a carpenter (LBP or trade qualified preferred)
Have hands on building experience
Knowledge of building methods and materials
Skilled in finishing and fit-out work
Able to interpret technical drawings and plans
Effective time management skills including the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and good at working as part of a team
Able to work outdoors, at heights, and physically fit (lifting up to 25kgs)
A full driver's licence or working towards one
