Position Overview
We are currently seeking a qualified Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. This role involves working on custom boathouse construction projects in the Ladysmith area, where you will utilize your carpentry expertise in a marine environment. Your contributions will be vital to ensuring the success of our projects and maintaining our reputation for excellence.
As a Journeyperson Carpenter, you will be responsible for framing and structural carpentry, interpreting blueprints and plans, and collaborating effectively with your team to achieve timely project completion.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail, with a passion for carpentry and construction. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions and has a proven ability to collaborate within a team setting.
• Certified Journeyperson Carpenter (Red Seal preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in framing and structural carpentry
• Prior experience in marine or waterfront construction environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $32.85 to $36.50, based on experience, along with an additional 8% vacation pay.
