Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Carpenter’s Helper to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will be clean, responsible, respectful, and have a good safety sense. Drivers license is required, and the successful candidate will be expected to lift up to, but not limited to, 50-75 pounds.
No experience is required but, preference will be given to registered first or second-year apprentices pursuing a career in carpentry.
Duties
Cleaning and organize the shop, work vehicles, and job sites.
Organizing tools and materials.
Help with hauling materials and debris.
Prepare job sites.
Assist carpenters with basic carpentry tasks.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Qualifications
Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy loads
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Willingness to learn and take direction
Strong work ethic and punctuality
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
