Permanent, full time, experienced Lead Carpenter wanted for a variety of commercial and residential renovations and new construction. Cornerstone General Contracting Ltd. is an established, well-organized and steadily growing Nelson, BC based company that values our reputation, and maintains excellent relations with crew, clients and industry contacts.
Prerequisites:
· Reliable transportation/driver’s licence
· Criminal Record Check will be required
· Steel toe boots and PPE
· Hand tools
· Excellent communication skills
· Positive team attitude
· Reliable and punctual
· Physically fit, good work ethic
· Attention to detail
Experience:
· Min. 5 years experience in construction with experience leading small to medium size construction projects/renovations, organizing and interacting with a small crew and trades
· Able to lead and work with crew from forming foundation through to finishing stages of new commercial and residential construction and renovation projects
· Ability to assist in training carpentry apprentices and site organization and supervision
· Familiarity with BC Building Code
